Lunds worked in very closely with the owners of this Central Queenstown retail and office building.
The building is a very high quality 2500m2 building with its distinguishable copper domed roof, schist stone and interior finishes.
The building footprint occupies 99% of the CBD site and therefore Lunds installed a gantry system for pedestrian protection and office space as well as erecting our 32T Leibherr Self Erecting remote controlled Tower crane.
There was a severe shortage of trades labour resource in Queenstown at the time and Lunds re-designed aspects of the building to mitigate this also completing items of work such as Masonry and Precast on site themselves to alleviate issues which would have otherwise jeopodized the programme.
