Lunds completed this alteration of the Dunedin offices for the Ministry of Social Development between November 2010 and February 2011.
The work was largely completed in the evenings so as to not disrupt operations. Security of temporary works was an absolute key factor for the client in this environment.
The areas were sequenced by Lunds in a manner that did not inconvenience the Ministry staff and handover dates for various areas were always met so as to not upset operations.
The fit-out consisted of a large amount of aluminium partitioning suite which Lunds had to complete and also marry into existing wall partitions. As with all office alterations creating an acoustic barrier through walls and ceilings is always the greatest achievement which Lunds successfully achieved on this project even given the 4m difference between roof and ceiling height.
The client was extremely happy with the performance on this project by Contract Manager, Justin McEntyre and Foreman Duane Valentine.
